Our Mission
Corazon AZ is a powerful multi-racial, multi-faith organization working to create a more just Arizona based on our shared faith values. We equip ordinary people to effectively identify and change conditions to create justice and equity. We focus on economic dignity and ensuring access to essentials like "Paid Leave," "Universal Childcare," and the right to "Rise & Vote.”
Corazon AZ organizes to create a more just and fair community for everyone in the Arizona region, with a particular focus on communities of color that have experienced historical discrimination and disinvestment. Our organizing is grounded in the conviction that equity—just and fair inclusion in society—must drive public policy.
At the center of our model of congregation-based community organizing is a belief in the potential for transformation—of people, institutions, and our larger culture. This belief stems directly from Corazon's roots in faith communities, and radiates throughout the organization, influencing the way Corazon relates to public officials, to community members, and to one another.

We mobilize voters across Maricopa County, Central Phoenix, and the Valley, ensuring our communities have a powerful voice in government.

We help our community understand their civil rights and provide tools to navigate challenges like immigration issues or potential repercussions for advocating human rights.
